Remember that layout is not an automatic process: your designer needs to carefully place the copy on each page as it will appear in the finished book, which requires both time and attention to detail.
Proofing: Once editing and layout are complete, you will review the laid-out version of your book and identify any final minor tweaks or adjustments. Only once everything has been reviewed, approved, and confirmed as final can the printers schedule the work.
